| Had- | Root hair deformations (branching, waviness, swelling, etc.) not observed |
| Ccd+ | Division and differentiation of cortical cells |
| Ccd- | Cortical cells fail to divide and differentiate |
| Hac++ | Proportion of hair curling unusually high |
