Phenotype abbreviation Phenotype description
Had++ Proportion of root hair deformations (branching, waviness, swelling, etc.) unusually high
Had+ Hair deformations (branching, waviness, swelling, etc.)
Had+- Hair deformations (branching, waviness, swelling, etc.) delayed, or the amount of root hair deformations reduced.
Had- Root hair deformations (branching, waviness, swelling, etc.) not observed
Ccd+ Division and differentiation of cortical cells
Ccd- Cortical cells fail to divide and differentiate
Hac++ Proportion of hair curling unusually high
Hac+ Root hair curling
Hac+- Root hair curling delayed, or curling affecting very few root hairs
